    You will learn that Variable contracts must be filed with the SEC. Topics include Features of the Contract, Provisions, Charges and Expenses, Valuation of the Policy, Tax Treatment, Variable Annuities and Settlement Options.

    This course will prepare you to pass the exams administered nationwide by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). Upon passing the exam, and with your Life & Health and Variable Products licenses, you will be qualified to transact the business of selling redeemable securities of registered investment companies, new issues of registered closed-end companies, Variable Contracts and insurance premium funding programs and other insurance contracts that are not exempt under the Securities Act of 1933.  A Study Manual is included in the course fee.
